Brian Bromberg: Downright Upright
Brian Bromberg is a bassist who I came across on the iTune music store. This album Downright Upright consists of model tunes, such as Cantaloup Island and Chameleon, and other smooth jazz music. Bromberg performed his upright bass. To me, the grove of this album was sweet. His time was good. Solos also gave a good feeling. It's too bad that I brought this album via iTune; therefore, I can't see the album's credit. Anyway, I'd give 5 star for this listen for enjoyment album.

Art Pepper: The Best Of Art Pepper
A musical biography of the intense, hard-bop alto saxophonist, this set features his late-’50s recordings as well as his ’70s sessions.I got this album a few days ago and am listenning to it while I'm writting this post. To me, Art's solo on this album is something called "beautiful." His solo on "Over The Rainbow" is so sweet that I could cry... really.. can you believe that??
Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band
Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band - Swingin' for the Fences Gordon's style of bigband writing is somewhat the way I want to have in my writting --especially, the sound of this album.
Alan Baylock Jazz Orchestra
Alan Baylock Jazz Orchestra - Two Seconds to MidnightI don't know how to explain... I just love it.
Alan Baylock is also former UNT student. I met him once when he came to give lecture on campus. It was impressive.
